The Pinkney family moved to Fort McMurray when Wayne Pinkney took the post of Principal at Peter Pond Junior-Senior High School in 1975. After 20 years as a school administrator, Wayne moved into financial services and opened Pinkney Financial Services in 1995. He then spun out a separate division and started Twin Tax by Pinkney with his twin daughters.
